I also love the impromptu anatomy lesson about the spleen being in the heart. That makes perfect, perfect sense in Kirkese, too. Your spine is also in the heart. Unless maybe it's in your balls. That's also possible.
The spine is definitely in either your balls or your eyebrows (I'm thinking of Spock). In Kirkian Anatomy, your heart is wherever it's convenient for your heart to be. But your brain is in your kidneys (or your balls, which are interdispersed throughout your whole self?) . . . IZ BERY COMPLEX
