This is William Shatner's spoken-word Rocketman as audio-transcribed and closed-captioned by Youtube. When you click the closed-captions button, a window pops up to warn you, "Transcibe Audio is an experimental service . . . "
Sometimes TA is accidentally perceptive, though, like it's transcribing the subtext.
A few weeks ago, I dreamed I read a poem called William Shatner's Scythe and Flowers. I can't remember the words, but these are right enough.
If you want to soil yourself, watch in TA: Shatner of the Mount
(To activate TA, hover the mouse over the CC button at the bottom-right of the video and click "Transcribe Audio". Magical.)
HAHAHAHAHA!!!! LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!
ReplyDeleteHA! Oh, goodness. This was funny.
I am pretty sure you are aware of this but let me point it out again.
-McCoy Best-
"Them and doctor Magazine just happened last night in which you are not in."
"Unanswered, notice it"
"Donna karan elscalators going"
"Another scientist physicist was just popped"
"Article or book or a SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER of war the u s s and"

YESSSSSSS! I LOVE THAT! OH GOD I CAN'T EVEN BREATHE---
ReplyDeleteMcCoy to Kirk as Kirk walks away: "splat dot there are a lot more jokes about that"
I'm at the library re-watching it, having to cover my mouth so I don't scream. O help.
And "Unanswered, notice it" is so very McCoy.
Oh, OH! That is magical indeed! You're right, it's like the subtitles are channeling a snarky Dadistic commentary ("Captain Kirk is resplendent," yes!)
ReplyDeleteI must try this with EVERYTHING now.
Yes! "snarky Dadistic commentary"!
ReplyDelete"polymerase" is what really got me. So unexpected.
(But who was this "dustin" he kept mentioning?)
